Payment Summaries on our mobile app

Employees are now able to view their payment summaries on our NEW Employment Hero Mobile mobile app starting from Financial year ending 2018 i.e. 2017 - 2018.

Who can view payment summaries on the mobile app?

Users will be able to view a list of their payment summaries if they meet ALL of the following conditions:

  • The organisation is connected to one of the following payroll systems
    • Employment Hero Payroll
    • KeyPay
    • intuiut QuickBooks Online Payroll
  • The organisation has Payment Summaries turned ON for employees through the Menu Customisation page (Customisation > Menu). This setting is OFF by default. 

How to view payment summaries on the mobile app

  • Employees with access to view payment summaries on the mobile app will see a menu option for Payment Summaries when they click through to the Account Details screen.

  • Employees who do not have any payment summaries to view will see the following screen

  • Employees who have payment summaries to view will see a list of their payment summaries

  • Employese can tap on one of the payment summaries listed to view the payment summary PDF preview. Once the payment summary has loaded, the employee will have an option to either download (Android) or share (iOS) the payment summary PDF. They can action either by tapping on the respective icons located in the top right corner as shown below.

How to turn off push notifications

When a payment summary is published and successfully imported into Employment Hero, employees will be notified through email notifications and mobile push notifications.

If you do not want to receive mobile push notifications regarding payment summaries, please navigate to your phone's SettingsNotifications and disable push notifications for the Employment Hero Mobile app as shown below:

Notes: 

  • If you have notifications turned on but are not receiving any notifications, please try re-installing the app to update the notification permissions. 
  • Turning off push notifications turns off all push notifications from the Employment Hero Mobile app. It is currently not possible to select which push notifications are enabled/disabled.
