Step 2B: Importing your Employees using the CSV

Personnel > Import Employees 

 

If you're migrating existing employees details onto Employment Hero and not connecting to a payroll platform, the easiest way to create multiple employee files in bulk is to use our CSV import. You can also use the CSV for updating your existing employee files at any time.

Clicking on the blue csv button will download a csv file of your existing employees on the platform (if it's only your details currently on the platform you will see only your details when you open this file). Each title on this sheet relates to a field on Employment Hero, and if you complete the details you'd like to see in your Employment Hero platform, download this file as a csv again and then re-upload this to the platform, you'll see it will create your Employee files. Refer to this guide for best practice guidelines on using this csv.
