If you are receiving an error when trying to enter a TFN into an employe file in the HR platform, there are three issues that generally cause the TFN to be invalid:
-TFN exists for another employee in the organisation (all TFNs in an organisation must be unique). Be sure to check any terminated employee profiles, as well.
-TFN doesn't have the correct character length (8-9 characters)
-TFN invalid (doesn't meet ATO criteria)
