Employee Setup: Employee Details


Use the Quick Add feature on the Employee Page to add a new employee to your Employment Hero portal.

Warning: Quick Add will by-pass the employee self service (ESS) where your employee will receive an invitation to the Employment Hero platform. The ESS takes your employee through setting up their details such as personal, bank and superannuation information.
Helpful Tip: To trigger the ESS when using the Quick Add feature, use the Invitation Function, to send your onboarded employee an invitation to the platform. This will then trigger the ESS for that employee.

Quick Adding an Employee

  1. Click on the Personnel menu.
  2. Click on the Employees submenu.
  3. Click the Quick Add Employee button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Employee entity.
    • First name.
    • Last name.
    • Date of birth.
    • Personal email.
    • Synchronise with payroll.
    Warning: The synchronise with payroll option is only available if you have a connection to HeroPay.

  5. Click the Save button. 
    Helpful Tip: Successfully sending an invitation through, will see the Success notification display on your screen.
