Inviting new employees to the platform

Overview

The last step an administrator needs to do in order for their employees to start using the platform is to send them an initiation. When accessing your employee list, there are two key features for sending invitations; they are:

  • Sending invitations to new users: This allows you to a platform generated email to to all your pending employees.
  • Resending invitations to pending users: This allows you to send a platform generated email to a specific pending employee.

Warning

The initial invitation to join Employment Hero expires within 72 hours. You can use the resend feature to generate a new invitation for those employees who no longer able to activate their account.

Important

Resending an invitation is only available for employees whose status is pending. For employees who are active, they will need to reset their password. For details on how an employee can reset their password refer to the following article.
