Overview
As an employee, a performance review forms a core part of your appraisal process and is a measure you can use to see how you are performing in your role. Your manager will use your performance review to understand your current productivity, where you need development and what areas of professional and personal growth they can pursue with you.
The My Performance Review feature allows you to submit a performance review by answering the questions your organisation has set out for you for discussion during a performance review meeting. You can also use this feature to print a copy of your performance review, edit the information if it needs updating, and un-publish your answers if you submitted them in error.
HR Best Practice
Annual or bi-annual performance reviews form part of the employee performance framework. The purpose of performance reviews is to communicate wins and to provide constructive feedback on employee performance, reviews are also used to open up conversations about career progression and future goals. It is recommended that both managers and employees prepare for these meetings in advance by keeping track of wins and areas for improvement throughout the performance cycle.
