Manager Hourly Timesheet Submission: Daily Hours Based on Daily Entries

Overview

You can use the Timesheet Management section to approve and decline submitted timesheets. You can also use this section to submit a timesheet on behalf of your employees, along with editing and deleting a submitted timesheet.

Submitting a Timesheet on Behalf of an Employee

  1. Click on the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click on the Management submenu.
  3. Click the Add New Timesheet button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Date.
    • Hours Worked.
    • Employee.
    • Work Type.
    • Cost Centre.
    • Add Comment.

  5. Click the Save button.
    Important: When you submit a timesheet on behalf of an employee, the system will automatically approve the timesheet.

Approving Employee Submitted Timesheets

  1. Click on the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click on the Management submenu.
  3. Use the Tick box to select each of the employees whose timesheet needs approving.

  4. Click the Approve Selected button.

Declining Employee Submitted Timesheets

  1. Click on the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click on the Management submenu.
  3. Use the Tick box to select each of the employees whose timesheet needs declining.

  4. Click the Declined Selected button.
  5. Type in a reason for the timesheet being declined.

  6. Click the Decline button.

Editing an Employees Timesheet

  1. Click on the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click on the Management submenu.
  3. Click the Action button.
  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

Deleting an Employees Timesheet

  1. Click on the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click on the Management submenu.
  3. Click the Action button.
  4. Click the Delete button.

What Does My Timesheet Clock Symbol Mean?

Message

  • Created At: Provides a timestamp of the timesheet creation date.
  • Synced At: Provides a timestamp of when the timesheet tried to sync with HeroPay.
  • Sync Successful: States whether the synchronisation of the timesheet between Employment Hero and HeroPay has been successful.
  • Edited At: Provides a timestamp of the last edit done to the timesheet after a previous HeroPay synchronisation attempt.

Colours

  • Blue: Used for pending or declined timesheets that have not synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Green: Used for approved timesheets that have synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Red: Used for approved timesheets that has not synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Orange: Used for pending, approved, or declined timesheets that have had changes made to them after being synchronised with HeroPay.
