Contractor Setup: Contractor Details


You can use the Contractor Details section to add new contractors to your Employment Hero portal. You can also use this section to edit the details of existing contractors.

Creating a New Contractor 

  1. Click the Personnel menu.
  2. Click the Independent Contractors submenu.
  3. Click the Add Independent Contractor button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Trading name.
    • ABN.
    • First name.
    • Last name.
    • Email.
    • Date of birth.
    • Contact number.
    • Access to organization announcements and features.
    • Address line 1.
    • Address line 2.
    • Suburb.
    • State.
    • Postcode.
    • Country.

  5. Click the Create button.

Editing Contractor Details

  1. Click the Personnel menu.
  2. Click the Independent Contractors submenu.
  3. Click on the contractor who needs details updated.
  4. Click the Update Details button. Contract_3.jpg

  5. Make the required changes and then click the Update button.
    Important: Admins and managers cannot edit an account email once a user is active. A user is active once they have logged into the platform.
