The Employing Entities Section

Overview

You can use the Employing Entities section to add a new entity to your Employment Hero account. You can also use this section to edit, disable, enable and delete an existing  entity.

Adding an Employing Entity

  1. Click the General Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Employing Entities button.
  4. Click the Add button.

  5. Complete the following fields:
    • Name.
    • ABN.
    • Set as default employing entity.

  6. Click the Save button.

Editing an Employing Entity

  1. Click the General Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Employing Entities button.
  4. Click the Actions button.
  5. Click the Edit button.

  6. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

Disabling an Employing Entity

Warning: The disabling of an Employing Entity is only available when an entity has no active employees.
  1. Click the General Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Employing Entities button.
  4. Click the Actions button.
  5. Click the Disable button.

Enabling an Employing Entity 

Warning: The Employing Entity enabling function is only available when an entity is inactive, this is represented by being greyed out.
  1. Click the General Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Employing Entities button.
  4. Click the Actions button.
  5. Click the Enable button.

Deleting an Employing Entity

Warning: The deleting of an Employing Entity is only available when an entity has no active employees.
  1. Click the General Settings menu.
  2. Click the Company Settings submenu.
  3. Click the Employing Entities button.
  4. Click the Actions button.
  5. Click the Delete button.
