Employee Unit of Work Timesheet Submission: Start and End Times Based on Daily Entries

Overview

You can use the timesheet submission function to submit timesheets for approval. You can also edit, view, and delete any previously submitted timesheet information.

Adding a New Timesheet Entry

Warning: To submit a timesheet based on the units you have worked, it first needs to be setup in HeroPay.
  1. Click the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click the My Timesheet submenu.
  3. Click the Add button.Timesheet_1.jpg

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Date.
    • Unit of work.
    • Work type.
    • Cost centre
    Important: The Unit of Work field will only become available when you have selected the correct Work Type.

  5. Click the Save button.

Editing an Existing Timesheet Entry

Important: This option is only available if the timesheet you submitted has not synced to HeroPay. You can see whether it has synced based on the Clock symbol.
  1. Click the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click the My Timesheet submenu.
  3. Click the Action button.
  4. Click the Edit button.

  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

Deleting a Timesheet Entry

Important: This option is only available if the timesheet you submitted has not synced to HeroPay. You can see whether it has synced based on the Clock symbol.
  1. Click the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click the My Timesheet submenu.
  3. Click the Action button.
  4. Click the Delete button.

Viewing a Timesheet

Important: This option is only available if the timesheet you submitted has synced to HeroPay. You can see whether it has synced based on the Clock symbol.
  1. Click the Timesheet menu.
  2. Click the My Timesheet submenu.
  3. Click the View Details button.

What Does My Timesheet Clock Symbol Mean?

Message

  • Created At: Provides a timestamp of the timesheet creation date.
  • Synced At: Provides a timestamp of when the timesheet tried to sync with HeroPay.
  • Sync Successful: States whether the synchronisation of the timesheet between Employment Hero HR and HeroPay has been successful.
  • Edited At: Provides a timestamp of the last edit done to the timesheet after a previous HeroPay synchronisation attempt.

Colours

  • Blue: Used for pending or declined timesheets that have not synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Green: Used for approved timesheets that have synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Red: Used for approved timesheets that has not synchronised with HeroPay.
  • Orange: Used for pending, approved, or declined timesheets that have had changes made to them after being synchronised with HeroPay.
