FAQ: What is the Leave Taken Report


What information can I view from the Leave Taken report?

Important: To access the detailed leave report, you need to click on any part of the bar graph under the Leave Taken heading. For details on how to access the Accrued Leave report refer to this article.

You can view your employee's leave date, type, hours, and status from the Leave Taken report.

How to Use the Leave Taken Report

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Leave Report submenu.
    Helpful Tip: You will now see the overview page which displays the Accrued Leave and Leave Taken graphs.
    Helpful Tip: You can use the Arrow button in the Leave Taken graph to move between different time periods. The graph will only show approved leave up to the current month.
    Warning: The Leave Taken graph only shows approved leave up to the current month. It does not display pending or declined leave requests. You can view pending and/or declined leave requests by clicking on the Leave Taken graph and viewing the detailed Leave report.
  3. For additional reporting on leave, click on the Leave Taken graph.
  4. Use the following fields to customise the report:
    • Show terminated employees/contractors
    • Employee/contractor
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
    Important: If you would like to run a report for all leave categories, you can do so by clicking the Reset button and then clicking the Filter button. This will clear all data stored in the filter fields and will allow you to run a report for all leave categories.

  5. Click the Filter button.
    Helpful Tip: Clicking the Download CSV button will download a copy of the generated report.
    Helpful Tip: Click the View button to display further details about the leave request.
