Benefits: Savings

Overview

This feature is a savings management tool inside the Employment Hero platform. Employees using this feature can set a financial goal and nominate a deadline for achieving their target.

This can help employees find more savings on everyday purchases. Employees enter their monthly spending on certain categories, and this feature will show them how much they can save by using the data from the discounts store.

Helpful Tip

When you make a purchase on the Discounts store, Employment Hero automatically adds the amounts you saved to your savings page; i.e. if you purchase movie tickets reduced by $10, Employment Hero automatically adds the discount to the movie section of your savings tracker.

Getting started

Setting up potential savings
  1. Click the My Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Benefits submenu.
  3. In the Potential Savings section, click the Show Me How button.

  4. Complete the relevant sliders and click the Finish button.

  1. Click the My Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Benefits submenu.
  3. In the Savings Goal section, click the Setup Goal button.

  4. Complete the required fields and click the Show me the money button.

Maintain

Editing potential savings
  1. Click the My Benefits menu.
  2. Click the Benefits submenu.
  3. Click the Edit button in the Potential Savings section.

  4. Make the required changes and click the Finish button.

  3. Click the Edit button in the Savings Goal section.
