Custom Reports

Overview

You can use Custom Reports to select and export specific employee data from your Employment Hero platform. You can also use this tool to edit and/or delete previously created reports and download the report data via CSV.

Prerequisite: Before being able to use the Custom Reports feature, Two Factor Authentication needs activating:
  • For details on how to activate Two Factor Authentication, refer to this article.
  • For details on what Two Factor Authentication is, refer to this article.
Important: A custom report is only accessible to the unique user who built it.

Creating a Custom Report

  1. Click the Reports main.
  2. Click the Custom Report submenu.
  3. Click the Create New Report button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    1. Report name.
    2. Description.
    3. Exclude terminated employees.
    4. Report type.
    Important: The First Name and the Last Name fields are mandatory.
    Helpful Tip: You can use the Available column, to select fields and drag additional field names into the Selected column to further customise your report.
    Helpful Tip: You can use the Search bar to make specific fields appear under the Available column.

  5. Click the Create button.
    Helpful Tip: You will now see your custom report displayed on your screen.

Editing a Custom Report

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Custom Report submenu.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. Click the Edit button. Report_5.jpg

  5. Make the required changes and click the Save button.

    Helpful Tip: You will now see your custom report displayed on your screen.

Download a Custom Report

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Custom Report submenu.
  3. Click the Actions button.
  4. Click the Download button. Report_5.jpg
    Helpful Tip: You will now see the download in progress screen. Once the status has changed to compelte, your report will be ready for viewing.

Preview a Custom Report

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Custom Report submenu.
  3. Click the Actions button.

    Helpful Tip: You will now see your custom report displayed on your screen.

Delete a Custom Report

  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Custom Report submenu.
  3. Click the Actions button.

Template Name Description
Custom Fields Employees' additional information for custom fields.
Bank Details Employees' bank details (e.g. BSB, account number).
Benefits Employees' benefits (e.g. benefit name, amount).
Certifications Employees' certification details (e.g. certification type, certification name).
Emergency Contacts Employees' emergency contact details  (e.g. contact name, relationship).
Employment Details Employees' employment details (e.g. employing entity, primary and secondary manager).
Employment History Employees' employment history (e.g. job title, start date).
Leave Balances Employees' leave balances for each leave category.
Management Notes Employees' management notes.
Medical Disclosure Employees' medical disclosure details (e.g. medical condition, current work restriction).
Pay Details Employees' pay details (e.g. pay rate, pay schedule).
Pay Run Details Employees' pay run details (e.g. standard weekly hours, timesheet setting).
Performance Review Employees' performance reviews (e.g. review title, the overall rating for the period).
Safety Incident Report All safety incidents (e.g. incident type, date of incident).
Superannuation Details Employees' superannuation details (e.g. fund name, member number).
Tax File Declaration Employees'tax file declaration details (e.g. tax file number, tax resident).
Work Eligibility Employees' work eligibility details (e.g. passport number, visa type).
