KeyPay Error Analysis: Employee Exists on Employment Hero and KeyPay

Preface

Importing employee details from KeyPay has caused the following error:

  • Employee exists on both Employment Hero and KeyPay.

Error Analysis 

If an employee exists on KeyPay and Employment Hero and they are using the same unique identifier (email address), when you import their details from KeyPay an error will appear.

Solution One

You can override the employee data in Employment Hero by using the employees existing data within KeyPay. 

Warning: When you use the data from KeyPay, you will override the existing employee data on Employment Hero.

How to Use KeyPay Data

  1. Click the Action button.
  2. Click the Use KeyPay Data button.

Solution Two

You can override the employee data within KeyPay by using the data within Employment Hero.

Warning: When you use the data from Employment Hero, you will override the existing employee data on KeyPay.

How to Use Employment Hero Data

  1. Click the Action button.
  2. Click the Use EH Data button.
