Company feed: Recognition

Overview

Recognition is a way for employers to reward and recognise their employees when they go above and beyond the expectations of their role.

Employment Hero links each recognition to one of your nominated company values, so that each nomination is an opportunity to not only recognise your employees for their performance but also showcase and reinforce your company values.

Recognition doesn't just recognise the employee for their contributions; they reward them. Admins and Owners can set the amount of Hero Dollars to reward recognised employees with, allowing them to spend it in the discounts shop.

Before being able to use the recognition feature, you will need to have:

  • Hero Dollars in your account. For details on how do this, refer to this article.
  • Created company values. For details on how do this, refer to this article.
  • Enabled the recognition feature. For details on how do this, refer to this article.

Getting started

Recognising a peer
  1. Log into the mobile application.
  2. Tap the Plus button.

  3. Tap the Recognise a Teammate button.

  4. Complete the following fields:
    • Select Employee.
    • Company Value.
    • Reason.
  5. Click the Send button.
  6. Click the Got It button.

Adding a reaction
  1. Log into the mobile application.
  2. Tap the Company Feed button.
