Business portal: Organisation management

Overview

The Business Portal provides you a centralised hub where you can manage the different organisations that may make up your business group. By having a centralised place to control aspects such as administrative access, closed beta features, along with unified reporting across all your organisations, will significantly reduce the administrative time spent on managing this process.

The Organisation Management feature within the Business Portal allows you to manage your related organisations by enabling you to onboard and offboard organisations as your business requirements change. You can also use this feature to select which employees have administrator access to each of your organisations, adjust the subscription plan that each one falls under and the enable certain closed beta features.

Getting Started

Adding an organisation
  1. Click the Dashboard menu.
  2. Click the Add Organisation button.

  3. Complete the following fields:
    • Organisation name.
    • Employing entity name.
    • Number of employees.
    • Company phone.
    • Country.
  4. Click the Next button.

  5. Select the required plan from the Please Select a Subscription Plan to Unlock more Features drop-down.

    Important

    Only if you are a Value-Added Reseller, can you choose what subscription plan to enable for this new organisation.

  6. Select the closed beta feature to enable.

    Important

    Only if you are a Value-Added Reseller, can you choose what closed beta features to enable for this new organisation.

  7. Click the Next button.

  8. Select what employees you will have managing this organisation.
  9. Click the Next button.

Maintain

Editing an organisation
  1. Click the Dashboard menu.
  2. Click the Edit button.

  3. Make the required changes in the Subscription Details section and click the Save button.

    Important

    Only if you are a Value-Added Reseller can you edit an organisation's subscription details.

  4. Make the required changes in the Administrator Access section and click the Save button.

Offboarding an organisation

Important

Only if you are a Value-Added Reseller can you off-board an organisation from your Business Portal. 

After you off-board the organisation, the organisation will maintain access to the features of their sub-plan for 30 days. The new owner has 30 days to enter their billing details to maintain access to their subscription plan features. Employment Hero will automatically downgrade their account to a free sub-plan after the 30 days have ended.

  1. Click the Dashboard menu.
  2. Click the Off-board button.

  3. Complete the following fields:
    • First name.
    • Last name.
    • Emails
  4. Click the Yes button.
