Overview
If an employee says they are not an Australian citizen or permanent resident during their onboarding workflow, you can check their work eligibility and Visa status through a Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) Check. It allows you to check your employees for work eligibility and is especially useful for businesses who regularly hire employees on working visa
The Work Eligibility Reporting feature allows you to check your employees' work eligibility either individually or in bulk. You can also use this feature to download a CSV file of the data, enabling you to load the report into a CSV-supported program like Microsoft Excel.

Author recommended
So you have now run a work eligibility report and you are now wondering what next can I do. There are two recommendations I would make on this front and they are:
- Compliance Reporting: Tax File Number (TFN) Declaration The Tax File Number (TFN) Declaration Reporting feature allows you to lodge your employees' tax records either in bulk or individually with the ATO.
- Compliance Reporting: Policies and Induction Content The Policies and Induction Content Reporting feature allows you to create a report that you can use to analyse what documentation your employees have acknowledged and what is still overdue.
