Leave taken reporting - HR Web Platform

Overview

Leave management is the processes designed by your business to handle requests for time-off for staff leave, inclusive of vacation, holidays, sick leave, and parental leave. A successful employee leave management system will provide a fair and accurate way to manage these requests. Making sure your organisation takes care of both your employees' needs and your company's legal requirements.

The Leave Taken Reporting feature allows you to create a report that you can use to analyse leave requests within a specific date period, broken down by the leave category and status. You can also use this feature to download a CSV file of the data, enabling you to load the report into a CSV-supported program like Microsoft Excel.

Availability

HR Plan:   Free   Standard   Premium   Platinum
Payroll Plan:   Standard   Premium
  User Access:   Employee         Manager         Admin      

  This is the default access level per user and whether they have  view,  edit and  delete access, excluding any changes made via our Custom Security feature.

Getting started

Create a leave taken report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Leave Reports submenu.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see the overview page, which displays the Accrued and Leave Taken graphs.

  3. Click on the Leave Taken Report graph.

  4. Chose from the following filters:
    • Show terminated employees/contractors.
    • Employee/Contractor.
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
  5. Click the Filter button.

Maintain

View an employee leave request
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Leave Reports submenu.

  3. Click on the Leave Taken Report graph.

  4. Chose from the following filters:
    • Show terminated employees/contractors.
    • Employee/Contractor.
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
  5. Click the Filter button.
  6. Click the View button.

Download the leave taken report
  1. Click the Reports menu.
  2. Click the Leave Reports submenu.

    Helpful Hint

    You will now see the overview page, which displays the Accrued and Leave Taken graphs.

  3. To download additional reporting on taken leave, click on the Leave Taken Report graph.

  4. Chose from the following filters:
    • Show terminated employees/contractors.
    • Employee/Contractor.
    • Date range.
    • Leave category.
    • Status.
  5. Click the Filter button.
  6. Click the Download CSV button.
