As an organisation, you would have documentation that you would want to assign to your contractors, such as meeting briefs, project scoping notes and work specifications. In these cases, having a central place you can store this data against the required contractors will enable both you, the contractor and their manager to read, access and review this information.
The Upload Documents feature within the Contractor file allows you to upload documentation against a chosen contractor's file, that they, their manager and any admin can view, access and review. You can also use this feature to delete an uploaded document if you uploaded it in error or it is no longer required.
You will need to have enabled the open beta feature, Contractors, before you can use the additional features outlined in this article. You can enable this beta feature via the Beta Flask drop-down and selecting to Opt in, though remember this is still an in development feature and subject to change. - Click on the Personnel menu.
- Click on the Independent Contractors submenu.
- Click on the Contractor Name, who needs a document uploaded.
- Click on the Upload Documents button.
- Click on the Add button.
- Upload the chosen file and click the Save button.
The maximum uploaded file size allowed is 10Mb.
