HR platform release notes: Week 25 2021

Overview

Over the last week, the Employment Hero product team has been hard at work and has released new updates to our HR Platform Safety Incidents feature, Management Notes feature, Goals (OKR's) feature, Payroll Integrations feature, Payroll Benefits feature and Superannuation feature. Read on below to see the details of what these changes entail.

Safety Incidents Management Notes Goals (OKR's) Payroll Integrations

We have added a new field called Created At, that will display on both the My Incidents page and when running the Safety Incident Report type via the Custom Reporting feature. For existing reports, you will need to edit the report to include this new field.

There was a previous bug with our Safety Incident feature where it required you to enter an Australian state even if you had international employees. We have removed this bug, with the new logic being, if the safety incident relates to an Australian employee, you will need to enter the state, if the incident is for an international employee or there is an international employee in the organisation and the incident relates to a third party, you do not need to enter any data into the State field.

Payroll Benefits Superannuation

Employers now can now select a benefit (Allowance) currency when assigning one to an employee either via the onboarding workflow and/or the employee file. We have based the default benefit currency on an employee's location, but you can change this as required.
