Over the last week, the Employment Hero product team has been hard at work and has released new updates to our HR Platform 1:1s feature, Policies feature, Contractors feature and Self Managed Super Fund (SMSF) feature. Read on below to see the details of what these changes entail.
When updating a 1:1s date, time or frequency through the Manage 1:1s feature, upon saving the changes, we will now ask you if you want these changes applied to only the following sessions, or the current and following sessions.
This selection only applies to date, time, or frequency updates, and not talking points. Any updates to talking points, we will always apply to the following sessions to minimise the risk of overwriting existing comments or updated talking points in the current session.
When acknowledging a policy, the wording next to the checkbox now states I acknowledge that I have Read, understood and agree to abide by the Terms of this policy instead of I acknowledge and agree with the details of this policy.
Previously, there were locations across the platform where we labelled a field or column as employee where you could also select a contractor, blurring the lines between an employee and contractor.
Now all instances identified below have had the column or field wording updated to say personnel:
- Locations Leave > Request leave.
- Timesheets > Management.
- Timesheets > My timesheets.
- Reports > 2-Factor Authentication.
- Reports > Audit trail > View Details.
- Reports > Compliance reports > Policies and Induction Content.
- Reports > Compliance reports > HR documents.
- Reports > Compliance reports > Certifications.
- Reports > Goals.
- Reports > Shoutout report.
- Reports > Timesheet report.
We have introduced validations to employees who use a self-managed super fund. The validation will mean the field of Electronic Service Address (ESA) will now need to have a valid value. To make things easier for our customers, we have now updated this from a free-text field to a drop-down select box in employee onboarding and employee file.
