Employment Hero helps companies to manage their timesheets.
When employees log their timesheets, a company may ask them to fill different information in their timesheet.
As an Admin or Owner, log in to Employment Hero and go to:
Settings > Company Settings > Employment Settings > Timesheet Entry
There are three choices:
Start and end times based on daily entries
With this choice, the employee needs to fill Start time and end time of their timesheets.
Note: Overnight timesheets will be available if you are using timesheets based on start and end times daily entries. This option is provided below
For organisations that are connected to Employment Hero payroll or KeyPay, overnight timesheets will allow you to submit timesheets that go past midnight. With this toggle off, employees must submit timesheets based on each individual day they have worked.
Daily hours based on daily entries
If the company uses this choice, the employee only needs to report the total unit of work (e.g. Hours worked, units produced, KMs travelled etc.) in a day - don't need to specify when the work was started and finished.
Daily hours based on weekly entries
This choice will allow employees to submit one timesheet for the entire week.
Note: Daily hour units will only work:
- if you're specifying a work type and the work type specified maps to an 'hourly' pay category
- if you're not specifying a work type and the employee's primary pay category is an hourly pay category
Select one of them according to your requirement. By default, the Start and end times type is used for timesheet logging.
