Leave requests that contains a public holiday can easily be identified by the 'airplane' icon in the 'Info' column of the following menus:
- Leave Requests > Leave Management
- Leave Request > My Leave Requests
- Reports > Leave Report
Similarly, a red circle with an exclamation mark has been used to identify leave requests that have allocated hours to a public holiday.
Users can simply hover over the above icons to see which public holidays exists in the leave requests and how many hours are applied to each public holiday (if applicable).
Request Leave with public holidays
When a user goes to:
Leave Requests > Request Leave
And selects a start and end date, if a public holiday exists within the selected leave period, the row will:
- Be highlighted yellow
- Have 0 hours of leave populated for the public holiday dates
- Have the name of the public holiday displayed in the 'Notes' column
Notes: leave requests created before this feature release that contains public holidays will have the employee's typical work hours allocated to those public holidays (unless the public holiday falls on a weekend, where hours may be 0)
