How to lock an employee's bank account?
Owners and Admins will be able to lock an employee's bank account by navigating to the employee's file and viewing the Banking details tab.
Against each bank account, owners/admins can select whether the bank account is Editable by employee.
As an employee viewing their own employee file, they will not be able to see the Editable by employee column. Locked bank accounts will be greyed out as below:
- Employment Hero imports locked bank accounts from the payroll system during initial payroll integration and when new employees are imported from payroll into the HR platform.
- It is currently not possible to lock bank accounts through CSV. Any bank account updates made via CSV will override the bank account settings in an employee file. Employers are required to go into an employee's file to re-lock bank accounts.
